Under the Sea" Mural – EB1 da Portela (Yellow School), 2025
In 2025, during a conversation with the team from EB1 da Portela (known as the "Yellow School"), the idea emerged to create an artistic intervention on a wall in the cafeteria, near the sinks area.
The aim was to transform this space into a more welcoming and fun environment, with a large-scale mural inspired by the bottom of the sea and inhabited by various marine animals.
The children's reaction was especially rewarding: over the days, they interacted with the painting, recognized elements, chose their favorite animals, and formed a spontaneous connection with the mural.
This natural engagement from the students gave the project a particularly meaningful social and educational dimension.
Next, the brush moves on to the rest of the cafeteria — a new tide in this evolving journey.
