Como Acabar as Coisas
Illustration for the book 'Como Acabar as Coisas' ('How to Finish Things') by Pedro Reis Colaço.
Synopsis:
Pedro Reis Colaço opens the door for in 'Como Acabar as Coisas' (the second volume of the Claro Enigma Collection), to the contemplations and concerns of the poetic character.
Divided into poems with short verses and almost diaristic excerpts, the book explores the search for the sensations most desired by human beings, such as love — a search that is sometimes interrupted by the most basic and inevitable obstacles.

Two seemingly opposing ideas that, when placed side by side, bring the unknown closer to the heart.

Uma Causa Por Dia 2021 - Solidarity Illustration Book
"One Cause a Day" is a 100% voluntary movement that brings together two illustrators (Diana Reis and myself) and several celebrities, ONG and social projects.
Through the sale of illustrations, picture postcards, books and other artistic works, we bring these causes together with everyone who generously wants to contribute to the fundamental action of each of these ONG and Projects.
In 2021, with 7 new organizations chosen to support, we wrote and illustrated a book that brings together the action of these 7 ONG in a single narrative: the story of little Leonor who was faced with the inequalities of the adult world and who finds an organization who struggles to mitigate them.
In a campaign with a duration of 3 months, the book "Uma Ca(u)sa Por Dia" was sold, along with several the new illustrations that you can see here, and this action resulted in raising €15,000 in revenue for the 7 ONG supported.
To date, thanks to the contributions of hundreds of people, we have already raised a total of €75,796 for more than 20 wonderful projects and non-profit associations.
One Cause a Day continues and you can find this
campaign and all the other editions in the link below.

In this book, there is a very special secret that Liz wants to reveal to us.
When she was little, she was very afraid to stay away from her mommy. And mom, in turn, was also heartbroken when she was away from her little girl. This happened, for example, when mom left for work or when the girl started going to school.
But then they discovered together an incredible way to stay close to each other, even when they had to say “see you later”!
It is this affectionate and charming secret that you are about to discover with Liz. But, shhhhhhhh, don't go out and spread it to everyone, ok? Just tell this secret to mommies, daddies, little girls and little boys from all over the world!
