50 anos 25 de Abril - Diário de Abril '74
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of April 25th, I painted (from the 1st to the 25th of April 2024) a daily memory based on photographs from April 25th, 1974.
Each painted 'memory' is 4cm x 4cm in size and they all form a single A3.
This A3 was later reproduced as a limited edition of 10 signed and numbered high quality prints. (sold out)

Paragens (Inner Reflections)
I believe that life is influenced by nature phenomena.
In autumn, following the constant movement produced by the summer sunlight, we normally go through a phase of a bigger inner reflection. As if the nature elements were pushing us 'indoors'.
"Paragens" was created in the fall of 2022 when I encountered a deeper retreat than usual.
Created only with the tone of watercolour (also an organic element) which I feel more emotional connected too.

The Pandemic Alphabet (COVID-19 pandemic) - Me X Your Words
For this 2021 personal project, I asked people to say in one word what the COVID-19 pandemic was like for them.
For a month I shared the entire alphabet (one letter a day) with the words that were most said to me.
This is the result of the illustrated alphabet and each letter in detail.

Tiny Diary 2023 (Daily Drawing)
This is a personal project that arose from my difficulties in sleeping.
In an attempt to solve my sleep problems for the umpteenth time and taking the doctors' suggestions of thinking about a good moment of the day and writing it in a diary, I decided that one of the resolutions for 2023 was to create my own illustrated / painted diary with that good moment of the day.
Each 'square' (or day) is 3 x 3cm.
After one year of this 'exercise', I noticed that I kind of enjoyed it..
I'm not sure about my sleeping getting better but the exercise of forcing us to think of something good that happened (no matter how small it may seem) it really changes our way of seeing the world..

Tiny Advent Calendar 2023
The tradition of the Advent Calendar in my family has been going on for several generations. There has been the classic 'a chocolate a day', there has been a poem a day, there has been games to play with the family, etc.
A few years ago I took over this chain and started the "one drawing and one poem" per day Calendar.
These drawings, which I used to share with my family, began to be shared with you so that you could have a December full of drawings, poems, and a little magic in the mix.
Every year there are variations and surprises.
In 2023, we had a Tiny Calendar Book with 25 pages. The little book is 6cm x 6cm. Each page had a different watercolour painting and when it was released on the social media platforms there was a poem for each tiny drawing.
The last past years the Advent Calendars illustrations were sold, one year later, in 24 postcard formats so you could send them to your beloved ones.
With this 2023's new format creation I'm still trying to figure out if I could make Tiny Book Calendars print reproductions for you.
I wish you a trip as gold and special as it is for me.

Mental Health & Ourselves
Collaborating with professionals in the Mental Health area, this was a project for European Mental Health Awareness Week, created in 2023.
When the project was launched, the illustrations were accompanied by texts (written with the help of professionals in the field) about each pathology/symptom.
